Took the Kahr PM 9 MM to the range today again to try out some different 9 MM Loads I have at home as well as some reloads.

I chrono'd some Hirtenberger 9mm 100 gr Truncated Soft Ponts, Federal 115Gr JHP's, Federal Premium Hydra-Shock 124 Gr JHP's and some Winchester Ranger STX 127Gr +P+ JHP's. Below are some photos of the groups at 10 yards and chrono data. The Ranger +P+ felt the hottest and gave a good jolt. You know you were shooting something but it was controllable non the less.

Out of the 2 1/4 " Barrel S&W 940 Federal 115Gr +P+ JHP's ran:

As a control I shot the Winchester Ranger STX 127Gr +P+ JHP's out of a S&W Model 39-2 with a 4" Barrel:

Cast Lead Round Nose with 4.5Grs. Unique ran around 1050 fps and shot pretty well in the Polygonal rifling of the Kahr PM 9 MM.:gah: Reminton 124Gr Golden Saber +P's ran about a same as the lead reloads.

Yes the GemTech Trinity in 9 MM is scary quiet on the S&W 422. Yes I said 9 mm. I got the Trinity for my Glock 17 but one day I saw on Gun Broker an adapter for the 422 so I bought one. Wow! It will also fit my 9 mm AR with a multi-mount. I prefere the 9 MM for sending the Jacks to meet Baby Jesus with a 95Gr .380 JHP loaded with 4 Gr of WW 231 in 9 MM cases. It wont cycle the Glock but I dont want it to. It will come out of the Glock around a 1050 fps and it really does the job on the Az Jacks. Check the link on You Tube for some of my other toys......God I love Arizona! Grew up in Dallas/Plano but here, we have better weather, drier, no Chiggers, fireants, few Mosquitoes.............
