Received my new PM45 on 12/31. Today was a combination break in/ qualification. Decided to try and qualify first hoping for no malfunctions. This pistol is a dream come true. Did a 50 rd qualify from 3-15 yards. Used 230 gr hardball. Absolutely NO problems. These 55 year old eyes shot a 97%. The sights are great and the recoil is very manageable. Fired a total of 110 rds. The gun DID NOT like Speer plus P 230 gr HP. Would not go fully into battery. Federal plus P 185 gr HP worked great. I plan to put another 100-150 rounds downrange before carrying. If all goes well this will definitely be my primary off duty weapon. I have a Comp Tac paddle holster on order but I just saw pics and review of the Comp Tac 2 o'clock- that will be next.

Sounds like a great start... I'm sure you can find some 230gr loads that will feed in the PM...
