Keep us posted on how you like it, and how it shoots! I've been thinking about that Kahr...as a buddy for my Glock.:image035:
No, the six round mag should be flush and tight at bottom.bentcursor said:pistolwhipped - I have a general question - is it normal for the 6-round magazine to stick out of the magazine well about a quarter inch? There also seems to be some give and take to the magazine. And when I cycle the slide with a full magazine inserted, the slide lock engages, and I have to manually disengage it to chamber a round.
Appreciate any info you can provide.
Ben
I haven't field stripped it yet. This was the behavior out of the box. I'm going to field strip and re-assemble and then test fire it to see how it behaves. Then perhaps a call to Kahr.******* Repairs said:my 6 rounder slightly protrudes , but not that far , as for the slide lock my first question is have you field stripped it and improperly re assembled it ( the spring leg goes on top of the slide stop not under it )
I don't believe that is correct. Racking the slide with an empty magazine inserted should cause the slide to lock back.bentcursor said:The manual indicates that after inserting a loaded magazine and pulling back the slide, the slide lock will engage...
Catbird, you are correct. I also have discovered that I was racking the slide a little too gently. If I rack the slide firmly, the rounds chamber, no matter what type of ammo.Catbird said:I don't believe that is correct.
