The Kramer Confident Shirt ~ 2 Thumbs Down

They are designed for Very Deep (Back Up Gun) Cover Only.
This is NOT a good product for regular daily concealed carry.
Kramer picked the right name though.
Be Confident that you will be dead before you can get your firearm out of that shirt.
Be Confident that you will smell really bad unless you wash it every 2 days.
Be Confident that unless your weapon is Stainless steel it will rust.
Be Confident that unless your weapon is lightweight Aluminum or Scandium it will pull down on the gun side & ride up on the other.
Be Confident that you will need to rip all the buttons off your shirt in order to get to your firearm in a life or death situation.
Be Confident that if you buy one you'll wish that you never did.

That's kind of harsh QK

They're pretty honest about what their product is for and what it is incapable of:

The CONFIDANT is not a fast draw holster. Worn under a shirt, blouse, or dress it is meant for those occasions when concealment is crucial, or when clothing limits the concealment of all but the smallest of handguns.
I just think it's not deserved to lampoon it so bad when they're so honest about it. But for CCW, the only situation I can possibly see this being useful is if I were allowed to carry at work this is about the only way I could do it.

I do not plan to purchase one.

KRAMER ~ Great Holsters ~ BAD SHIRT

Oh...I know they state that it is for deep cover and that is ALL that it's good for. For regular concealed carry it stinks.
In order for then to work at all they need to be worn TIGHT and you will know that you have it on...all day long.
And years ago...I bought one when Kramer was not quite so "Up Front And Honest" about marketing it.
They are honest about it now but they were not when it was first put out on the market. I wasted a few of my "hard earned" American dollars on it & now I'm getting reimbursed.
They are downright awful.
But, of course just my opinion.

I do admit I find it a little odd they offer it for so many different guns when they specifically say it's only good for the smallest of guns.

I see the use for it though. This product honestly solves the biggest problem I'd have safely carring concealed at work, if that were in fact legal. If such was the case I'd buy one and a small gun to go with it immediately.

For a small or very lightweight alloy & stainless firearm that you did not ever need to get to in any sort of hurry it would be just peachy keen.
One guy on another forum was actually quite happy that he got his weapon presentation time down to about 8 seconds (with practice) ~ That is an Eternity for a self defense situation.
And...how many days can you wear the same undershirt in the heat of summer without washing it?
Who wants to go home after a long day at work and Wash Your Holster every night?
Not me...that's for sure. Stay Safe!

I dunno QK. I'm planning on spending at least a Franklin on my next holster. If you carried this every darn day, I think you could spring for 2 or 3 of them. That would help with the washing problem.

And yeah I agree that not being able to produce a tool in a hurry will get you killed in many scenarios. But that 8 seconds to pull a gun out of my shirt versus 1 minute to go fish it out of my truck is pretty darn good...

I Admit It

I absolutely hate the Kramer Confidient Shirt.
But, I'll still like anybody that decides to buy one.
