I saw a holster maker posting his holsters online, and I think it was here at CC. The holsters had a leather backing with a kydex piece holding the firearm. I can't find it though. I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction.

Thanks, I'll check them out. I mainly wanted to get another look at the crossbreed.

gunnersalley has let me down yet once again. I ordered a Hume 715 SOOT for my new G19, and once again they don't have what I ordered in stock and communication with them has been horrible. Others have had good luck with them, but I doubt I'll give them another try after this.

crossbreed holsters

the wife and i ordered 2. one for a 649 j frame and one for a thunder 380. when they first arrived the 649 holster was way too big, gun fell out of it. the 380 holster was too tight, gun wouldn't fit. sent them back with an explanation of what was wrong. they came back pretty quick and they are better but the j frame is still a little loose. gun falls out when you're not wearing the holster. the 380 holster is still a little too tight, you really have to push to reholster. the high back on the holsters is a nice touch and the quality overall is good. customer service ranks up there too. the holsters were returned to us promptly and with no fuss. we might send them back after we break them in a little but this style of holster just doesn't feel as comfortable as full leather to us. just a personal preference, ymmv.
