Well me n the wife finished up our CWP class today! we did 4hrs last night along with the test and she missed one. I also missed just one (which was one of those tricky worded ones) but either way we passed that. Then we had to be back at the range this morning at 8am and commenced the qualifying. we had 23 people in our class, but my wife decided i go first. no biggie she just wanted to see what to expect. Either way we both shot a 50 in our qual. and so therefore we now start the wait. Im proud of my wife for passing and getting ready. She also shot my .40 after qualifying just to see how it was. well she dont care too much for the 40 lol but we going to test fit her next week....

Congrats on taking the course as a couple...:hand10:
The wait will pass quickly, and consider it a time to pick out the right carry guns and holsters.

Stay armed...as a couple...stay safe!

My wife and I took a two day, 14 hour security guard firearm training class about 45 days ago. We both applied for our ccl at the same time; she got hers in 13 days and i got mine in 20 days.

Congrats on you and your wife taking and passing the course together.:congrats: My wife and I also took the course together in Ohio (12 hours on a Saturday) and got our CHLs at the same time a few weeks later. Another woman, who my wife works with, and her husband also took the course at the same time with us and received their CHLs as well. We can count ourselves lucky that our wives are into it with us.:yup: I really empathize with the ones whose spouses do not support them and/or are opposed to them carrying.:frown:

+1 on picking out the right carry guns and holsters. Especially the holsters. I've found that most holsters that are worth having (comfortable & concealable) take some time to order and not likely readily available at your local shops.
