I have built an AR15 but I am wanting to build other types of rifles such as older "historic" rifles.

Are there any places online where I can purchase something like this?

Don't know how historic you want but here's Dixie Gun Works, Dixie Gun Works muzzleloading, blackpowder and rare antique gun supplies.. I know about them mainly because they neighbor my old home town. Seem to have a good rep.
