i was just wondering if anyone knew of any knives that had the same or similar blade design to the sog recond bowie ( http://www.sogknives.com/Images/fixed/SOGreplicas/reconbow.jpg ) but i don't really want to give SOG $300 dollars(or any amount of money at this time :frown: ). i have been lookin around but didn't find anything that was even close to this design.

I know Cold Steel makes a less expensive knife that looks identical to the Sog Seal. Not really an answer to you question, sorry. But that is a strange blade shape. Finding a copy might be difficult.

You're not going to find that exact knife without buying that exact knife or having a custom built. Post a WTB used Sog Recon Bowie on knifeforums.com and/or bladeforums.com. If it's used, SOG isn't getting a dime of your money, plus it'll be cheaper.

Nope the closest thing, but not exact, to that that I can think of was the Gerber Patriot and that's out of production.
