Looking to purchase a gun for CC. Want to see if anyone is selling here.

Just kinda testing the waters to see whats out there just now.

My idea list of what should fit my requirements are:

Glock 19
Taurus PT111 / 145
sccy 2

Obviously there are a lot of guns out there similar, and i'm open with my choices, the list is basic and just to give an idea of the type/style i'm looking for. No micro-compact, revolvers, or 1911's, must be 9mm or .45acp with at least 10 round capacity.

Posts are useless without pics, so if you got something that might work for me, let me see it, and give me an idea of price.

I've posted this pic in another G19 thread, but I am partial to the G19. Here is my rig.

Or this -

Glock 30 on left 10+1, big brother 21 next to it 13+1

Both of which can disappear in a Galco King Tuk.

I have an SCCY CPX-1. I had trouble with the safety engaging after each shot. SCCY sent me the safety repair kit which in effect locks the safety in the fire position. Losing the use of the safety feature but now it goes bang every time I pull the trigger. SCCY was easy to deal with and it does have a lifetime follow the gun warranty. SCCY Industries this link will take you to their website. I gave right at $ 300.00 new for my SCCY and I carry in both a blackhawk #4 IWB and and Old Faithful OWB. It is fairly accurate even with the short barrel. I have heard that the Generation 2 models are much better.

All nice guns folks, but I think you may have miss-understood the purpose of this thread.

I'm actually looking to buy a gun.... hoping someone out there has one for sale within my budget.

Lots of good things said about the SCCY, Never touched one but for the PT111 and G19, go with the G19 or look into a g26.

I have a Glock 26 Gen 4 that is nearly brand new with fewer than 100 rounds through it. 0% failures with 7 ammo types. Kept in new condition, babied, cleaned after each use. (I'm really anal. Seriously, this thing is in better condition now than when I got it.)

It includes two 10-round mags with flush base plates and one 12-round Pearce grip extended mag. I have a N82 Tactical Professional IWB holster for it, lock, spent casing, and the original box and written materials, including all interchangeable back straps.

I also have a Ruger SP101 with 2.25" barrel, exposed hammer, and custom rosewood boot grips. It has fewer than 100 rounds through it, and has also been babied.

The Ruger includes the factory grips, lock, and the original box and materials.

I'm asking $550 for each.

Humm...I thought the post said looking for a CHEAP....COMPACT carry...Glocks, Berretta's and such are NOT CHEAP, nor compact... Just suppose you are a POOR person like most of us here and cannot afford anything over $300 unless you work for six months saving up money. If you want a compact size (like a Glock 19) and don't have a lot of money, the Ruger P-95DC is probably the best deal you will find new for 9mm that's almost indestuctable and actually WORKS, does not jam, shoots any ammo and is accurate. The revolvers got discounted at the 10 round limit, although the Ruger SP101 is the ONLY one I've seen that will drop in a chubby person's (like myself) pocket and disappear, even with blue jeans. If you're doing deep carry like pocket, revolver may be best as they're more prone to operate if get full of lint...or much easier to clean if they do and will shoot through the pocket (like jacket) whereas the semi-autos might get 1 round off, but will probably jam as the slide runs out of room in the pocket when cycled.

Cheap & compact? Kel-Tec P11 in the little double stack 9mm should get the job done as well too.

Mmmm, a Glock or a Taurus...you make it a tough choice:rolleyes:...I think I'd go the Glock direction.

That Glock-19 is quite a firearm.

I shot one of those for the first time a few weeks ago in TN. Hated it.

The trigger was so rough it almost drew blood, had the longest trigger pull of any gun I have ever fired and just felt tinny and cheap....

If I may suggest, try editing the original post and add "DOES ANYONE HAVE FOR SALE..." or something to that effect.

Funny how threads can take on a life of their own!

Looking for cheap compact carry

My idea list of what should fit my requirements are:

Glock 19
Taurus PT111 / 145
sccy 2

No micro-compact, revolvers, or 1911's, must be 9mm or .45acp with at least 10 round capacity.
Inexpensive, I'm assuming. Not cheap. Cheap <> SD sidearm, basically, at least IMO.

CZ P-01
CZ D Compact PCR
CZ 2075 RAMI (either with manual safety, or with decocker)
Bersa Thunder Ultra Compact Pro
Glock 19
Glock 26
SIG P229, perhaps -- used, they can approach the prices of these others

Pics can be found at each of the manufacturers' web sites. Prices, on GunBroker at 10sec with a Google search.

My wife loves her cz rami 2075 bd 9mm.

I will suggest a springfield xds in 9 or 45.
Here is my new xds in 45.

I can not stress enough to shoot as many as you can before making a decision.
