Awesome Christmas for me, thanks to the family!

Sorry for the not great photos, I had to dodge the rain.

M1 is a Springfield built in July 44

She's a beauty, really want one myself. Did you get surplus ammo or will try the Federal american Eagle and Hornady loads made for the M1?
What is in the picture is surplus ammo... I bought 2 boxes (40 rounds)... I only got that because a rifle without ammo is about a useful as a fence post. I am sure I will end up with ammo and range ammo like with my other firearms. As it stands it will be a month or two before I can do that $$.

whered you get it??? i have my grandfathers M1 service rifle he used in WWII, ill never shoot it, so i am looking for one to "play with"
