They let ALL of the Marlin employees go and moved all the equipment. They retained no one that knew what he as doing to set them back up and start production back up. It was entirely restarted by Remington employees that knew nothing about building lever action rifles. Really messed the whole thing up. Might just now have enough experience to make them properly but it still seems hit and miss.

Y’all put pic’s up even if it’s stock if you can find them. More fun with pictures, gun porn 😊
New Henry Side Gate Lever Action Rifle:

Henry: "Our Side Gate Lever Action offers up the best of both worlds with our standard removable tube magazine for safe and easy unloading and a side loading gate to keep the magazine topped off."

I have 2 Marlin lever action rifles and 1 Winchester.

Since Remington bought Marlin out back in 2007 the QC is not what it used to be I've been reading. They let all the old Marlin employees go and expected low paid assembly workers to turn out guns as good as the old craftsman did. It didn't take them long to learn that lever action rifles take a lot more hand fitting than a bolt action rifle.
Rook, Remington knew damned well what would happen; they just didn’t care. At least the Harvard MBA geniuses didn’t.
