I ran across this article regarding Mexico's one and only gun store. I've known that all civilians are restricted to non military calibers, .38 and .380 on down. I didn't know that they had only one store in Mexico city to serve the entire populace. It made me think how our own current administration would begin the restriction, before a total confiscation could happen.

Why would they need more gun stores when our own DOJ, DEA, FBI, HHS (oh, I could keep going) are just runnin them down there from up here? Meanwhile, the Mexican Ambassador to the US (I think it was him, or an equally elevated Mexican Official) just came out and is now Angry at the US over this.

Venezuela just adopted this model of Domestic Firearms policy and are demanding that the country's citizens turn in guns.

On the other hand, applause to Canada for finally realizing the mistake (probably because they are looking south at the US and thinking they had better 'arm the citizens' as the US goes down the socialist hole.

Keep up the good work, any little bit you do, to protect the US and our 2A Rights.

I guess no military calibers are allowed due to concerns the law abiding public will threaten the guv there with raided armory ammo. Same reason for one gun store. If their guv thinks a given person will not commit a crime with a firearm, they should give out carry permits to defend against the criminals.

I don´t think Obama can get another Supreme Court nominee confirmed. That´s the only realistic way he could disarm the country. We´ll have four more years of grid lock. Which means nothing gets better, or worse. The nation is on autopilot.
