Does anyone have any experience with this rifle? I have been eyeballing it for the past 2 months and found one at the local Academy here for around 679.99. From what I have read and watched on the internet, it gets rave praise for how much rifle one gets for the price.

I am deciding between the MMR and the MP Sport II. With the sport I would like to swap out the upper due to me not liking the default style and wanting a more tactical option...

My price range is between 500-750

The sport 2 is the king of cheep AR right now

Or a Saint if you want to spend a little more .Or the classic 6920 if you want to spend more or get the striped model and add you own stock etc

The M&P Sport and Ruger AR-556 are at the top of the heap for that price range. For another $175 or so more you could move up a tier to a Colt 6920 or FN. The SA Saint does appear promising, but has not been out long enough for a lot of feed back. Good luck!

That MMR handguard wouldn't work for me, as it would be pretty much impossible to use effectively for barricade shots, so that would need swapped.
