This sounds silly, but I can't conceal very well in nice slacks and a button down shirt tucked into said slacks. I had to go to a wedding a couple years ago and carried a Beretta 20 (.25acp) in my back pocket behind a handkerchief, a Kel-Tec p-32 in a Renegade ankle holster, and another Kel-Tec p-32 in a desantis pocket holster. I did it mostly as an experiment and it was quite comfy.

I answered no, because hour for hour, I don't carry a mouse gun most of the time. However, because of the no-carry policy at work, and the way I have to dress, 5 days a week I carry a Kel Tec P3AT. It's easier to slip on and off when I'm in and out of the office, and still in work clothes, and very light. If I'm going out for a while in the evening, change clothes, and back to usually a 1911 of some type.

Weekends, almost never carry a mouse gun.

Every now and then, I'll only slip my P64 in he pocket...usually it's when running out to the stroe for something quick, etc...otherwise, a G36/P7 is about as small as I carry.

My Glock-36 is almost always with me...once in a great while I might just take my P-3AT for a quick run to pick up a few groceries, or have it if I'm just out cutting the grass.:scratchchin::yup:

I've actually made the decison the make my two mouseguns; Seecamp .32 and LCP .380 my EDC guns. The larger guns are being put to use as home defense guns. Pocket carry just works so much better for me with my lifestyle and schedule and work carry restrictions.

For those who still want to knock the .380 as some sort of wimp round, let me tell you what I did last Sunday. A friend and I spent the day shooting outdoors at his parents home in upstate PA.

I shot a pumpkin with my LCP at about 10 feet, using a 102 gr. .380 Golden Saber. The entrance hole was 9mm, of course, BUT the exit hole was around 27-30 mm!

NO

EDC 45. My pocket BUG is a 40. The lightest weight bullet I'll consider is in a 357.

Sorry, NO

Okay, I confess. I carry a P-3AT with a belt clip about 50% of the time, and a fair amount of that time I probably wouldn't carry if limited to something larger.

I only own a mouse gun right now, its only a .25, but I carry it all the time, except when/where prohibited by law or work regulations. Once the money is there, and that maybe sooner than later with overtime season kicking in, I will have a Glock 32 and no mouse gun as I will trade this one off. The plan is to get the 32 and then eventually get the .40 barrel for it.

I carry a XD9SC and my wife carries a Keltec P-32.

I'm not going to get into any rants or arguments about "ineffective caliber" or "that's too small for protection" or "you're not a man unless you carry a XXX". We carry what we want and what we shoot best - period.

I don't even own a mousegun. I can understand why some folks do, though I don't tend to agree with the logic. I'm one of those people who has zero problems carrying a J-frame in my pocket, so I don't understand why anyone would choose to depend on anything less than a 158 grain LSWCHP +P or 135 grain Gold Dot +P. I've been carrying a J-frame that way since I got my first CHP in 1995 (before I was an LEO), and I've been doing it since.

To be fair, since I am an LEO, my work obviously doesn't have a "no guns" policy, and I am legally allowed to carry just about everywhere that people carrying on CHPs cannot. I understand why people choose to carry anyway, but if in the same situation, I'd still carry a J-frame in my pocket (as I did from time to time when I was carrying on a CHP instead of a badge).

Since I am Retired I can carry what I want but, If I had to ware dress slacks and light shirt in an office every day the dreaded mouse gun would be very comforting. "you gotta do what you gatta do"

Because your pockets are a lot bigger than mine. I don't own a single pair of pants that would let me carry a J frame in a pocket without looking like I was trying to hide a cantelope. Most of the time that wouldn't matter but sometimes it does. I'd rather carry a J frame or a PM9 but it's not always practical or wise.

I voted no, but not because of the lack of confidence in the .380 caliber. IMO, most any round to the forehead or heart will end ya.
