Spikes Tactical Dedicated .22 caliber AR

This rifle is an absolute blast to shoot at the range. Dead-nuts accurate and I can shoot all day for a $20 bill. It will pay for itself after one season in ammunition savings. Never mind the cheap red-dot, I had it laying around and was short on cash this week for a BUIS and something nice from the optics department.

Spikes lower
Spikes ST-22 Upper
Lothar-Walther match barrel with 1:16 twist
Spikes muzzle break
Magpul MOE fore end and stock
Spikes Tactical .22 bolt
Black Dog Machine Magazines
DPMS Lower Parts kit
KNS Anti-roll/Anti-walk pin kit

That looks totally K.A.! Nothing wrong with a cheap red dot sight. I have a BSA 40mm myself and it works very well.

Even with just the iron sights, it's still a 'plunkin' fun gun.:hand10:
(I can't say that too fast or the mods would be all over me.:rolleyes:)

Nice looking gun. I've been looking into getting a similar gun, there are so many out there right now in .22LR. Thanks for the post, I'll check out Spikes.

Plop,

What I like about the Spikes .22 is that at the heart of the matter is a fully modular AR platform rifle. Unlike the S&W or the Colt and others that simply mimic the look. If tomorrow I decided to take off the .22 upper and put on the 6.8 SPC upper I would be rockin' & rollin' in under 30 seconds. Even though the .22 doesn't need a buffer I installed their tungsten buffer anyway for proper weight balance and for those times I want to swap out the upper with something more powerful. Spikes service is perhaps the best in the industry. You can call and ask them anything and they are very responsive to emails as well. I once emailed Rock River and got a reply 9 days later. Spikes usually replies to my emails within 2 hours. I think that I will be installing a Timney or Chip McCormick trigger at some point because the standard Mil-Spec trigger that is suitable for 5.56 is just too crunchy for bullseye shooting. But for now everything works 100% and I am very pleased with the quality of this fine Spikes rifle.
