I was at a Cabela's yesterday with a shooting buddy looking at Kimber's. We took our kids with us to give the wives a little break. The little guys love looking at the aquarium and various animals throughout the store.

When I get home my wife tells me she had a great afternoon shopping with one of her friends and had bought me some pants, shirts & a sweater or two. We've been married for 10 years and she knows what I like... Apprarrently there were some great sales going on and she was excited to show me what she got and of course wants me to try it all on right then and there.

So I of course humor her and start with the fashion show:rolleyes:
As I start trying things on I then realize the pants she bought were 1 size larger than I usually wear. So I slide my supertuck onto these new pants and they are PERFECT! I then proceed to try on a few shirts and a great sweater....all PERFECT cover garments in some way or another. I look at her and say "this stuff is wonderfully comfortable and I'm glad you got the larger sizes." (note: I generally wear pretty tailored clothing much of which can't accommodate the Supertuck) She looks back with a cute smile and said "I know you're doing your 'concealed' thing more now and wanted to be sure you were comfortable at work." :hand10:

How great is that! I love my wife. She really DOES listen to me. To top it off, she was a bit irritated that she forgot to sign up for a CCW class that was taking place this morning (this is new for her too). Not sure what caused the increased interest and comfort with my carrying...but I'm going with it.

Wow, it's always great when the significant other is supportive of how we do things. Definitely treat her to a night out to thank her. I'd say surprise her the way she surprised you. :yup:

you got a great wife there. mine went to the store and got me some pants today also. the waist was good but the legs were way to skinny. i have big thighs and she got some slim fit without looking at that part. she started accussing me of gaining wieght before she noticed the slim fit part. i've tried to explain the whole bigger pant size thing to her but she still hasn't got it yet. hopefully she will catch on like yours has.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

Some asked..Does she have a sister? 2 - they're twins. Calm down...Don't get too excited. One's married to a guy with an insane collection of firearms....the other just got engaged last week. Too bad they all live in MD, I guess they cant get a carry permit? I love UT.

Coming from 16 years of a happy marriage, never, and I repeat NEVER ask that question. She showed an interest, be very thankful for it. :yup:

Sounds like a great woman there. Mine is just like her. We are lucky men my friend.

PS - I love Utah also!! :danceban:
