NAA Mini Owners Beware!

Ok, a bit melodramatic I admit, but there is a warning on their website.

It seems PMC brand ammo in .22LR and .22MAG have been known to double discharge.
In other words, the round under the firing pin will go off normally but another one, next to it goes off as well. Needless to say this might ruin your day. LOL!

I read their warning.....sorry that just don't fly with me. Someone musta got stupid or something. I have had my mini mag. at least 5 years and its never happened to me. If the gun was a DA/SA, then I could say its possible on the gun handlers end, but not ammo...
What you guys think ???
Sounds wierd to me - I mean - is PMC primer compound so sensitive that an adjacent cyl firing could ''shock'' it into life! Gimme a break! The mechanism of rimfire is crush - pin against brass rim restrained by anvil - which is either cyl or a semi chamber mouth - it needs a whack!!

Nothing on my Mini to suggest any adjacent round could possibly be affected mechanically by top cyl firing!

I only use maxi-mags anyways and hope to pick up some +v's when I find them. Not a great fan of PMC ammo anyways.

Maybe there is more to this.

I would guess that PMC is to blame. I have never been a big fan of theirs either.
Ultra high best quality rim fire ammo is still comparative inexpensive...why would anybody carry PMC ammo in a BUG for serious self defense?

Good info. to know anyway but, I'll never bet my arse on PMC rim fire ammo...so not a problem for me.
I bet someone screwed up the priming mix.

Its probley way too sensitive or, they increased the case head little to much and during what little recoil there is its crushing it enough to set off priming mix
incredible

This sounds like the only reasonable explaination. You think they would recall this ammo if, problems were happening. I don't like PMC ammo in general for any of my guns, but thanks for the warning.
