For my fellow NC shooters im looking for a local range or membership to a range that has at least 100 yd rifle and a pistol range? local to or around Johnston county I dont want to have to drive an hour to shoot .. Help:rant: Where do you guys shoot?

I don't know where Johnston County is, but there's one like you describe in Iredell County that some of us shoot at. How far are you from Statesville?

I can't help you with ranges close to your home, but when you want to come to the Outer Banks for surf and sun you can brting your firearms and shoot at the Outer Banks Gun Club. Visitors are always welcome. They are open every day except December 25.

I guess it depends on what part of Johnston county. Clayton is about 20 minutes SOUTH of Raleigh

I use a range in Raleigh, but it doesn't go to 100 yards. I'd love to learn about others in the area!

Not real sure where in Johnson County you are, but Drake Landing is close to Fuquay. They have a pistol pit. Drake Landing.

I've been using Eagle One in Raleigh - they're usually not as crowded as PDHSC.

There is a public range in holly springs. 30 lanes indoors with 10 lanes 100 meters and 20 lanes 50 meters.

They even allow you to shoot blackpowder if you bring it in pre-measured amounts.

Rates for out of county people are I believe $15/hour per lane, but if you bring someone the price doesn't change unless you have two lanes.

You can also purchase a year unlimited membership but the price escapes me except I believe if you are prior military/police the rate is exceptionally low.
