Just got back from the range where I broke in my new back up. My new Ruger alaskan in .454 casull/.45. colt.It shoots great in .45 and the recoil in .454 is brutal and I dearly love the wrist numbing punishment.Im able to get a 2 inch group at 7 yards which I dint feel is too bad considering the 2.5 inch barrel.
The other folks at the range all stopped and stared at the massive muzzle flash, and commented later that they could feel the shockwave 3 lanes away.
Heres a pic, the small rd in front is a 9mm for scale.

That's your BUG? What's your primary carry weapon, a howitzer? :nutkick:

Probably a Thompson Contender with a custom made 4 inch barrel in 700 Nitro!
