Hello,
My name is Dan and I live right outside St. Louis. I got my CCW in May of this year and have carried ever since. I grew up with firearms (originally from a farming community in Nebraska), served in the military for 8 years, and now refuse to be defenseless in a sometimes not-so-friendly-society. Another reason I got the permit is because a LEO friend kept asking me (OK - pestered would be a better description :buttkick: ) if I got it yet.
In the past, I have referred to this forum to answer questions on holsters, experiences, opinions, etc. and decided to join the list.
I typically carry a Stoeger Couger 8040 but depending on the weather (which dictates the clothes I wear), I sometimes go with the smaller Makarov.
