I just joined too, and glad to be here with you as a newbie. Been reading web site for a while, NRA member. I'm originally from western NC and I visit often. NC and VA reciprocate on cc, but open carry is a little different. I open carry in VA often and it's no big deal. NC it's legal, but you can encounter some hassle. If everyone assumed that everyone else was cc, politeness would proliferate.
