Welcome to the forum Dave.

I'm a bike enthusiast as well. Currently between cruisers, but still have my sportbike to play around on.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome !

Been going back through old threads and topics of discussion, this board has a LOT of good information and makes for very informative and interesting reading.

I also appreciate the civil tone, there are some discussion boards where attitude rules and I much prefer a site like this. :ABBeret:

We all enjoy that Dave - and try to keep it that way.

Civility, courtesy and respect score big, over attitude and bad manners  As is often promulgated - attack an argument but not the proponent.

My Father was in the Army 1st Cav 1/9 Airmobile, Vietnam 1968-1971.

You Vietnam Vets don't get anywhere near the respect or credit that you deserve. I would like to thank you for your service. There are many other Vietnam Vets here.

Alright! A Glock fan too, no less! :welcom2: The civility and experience here is outstanding. As a newbie, I'm generally in my "listen and learn" phase, however.

You, as a former newspaper owner, should feel free to redline and edit my posts! I need writing lessons occassionally!
