Last year sold my old HBE Specialty Leatherworks Pro TL when I gave my ancient but trusty S&W model 36 to my wife. She ended carrying my Sig 228 so I took the revolver back and ordered another Pro TL to replace the original with. Eric hooked me up and added alligator trim to the new one for a marginal fee as I've bought quite a few of his holsters.

I ended up slapping the original grips back on and added a Tyler T-Grip to it to bring it back to an old timer look (just turned 50).

I can honestly say this holster is the best that I have carried any weapon in. It's so comfortable you don't know its there, easy on/off and very well made as are all of Erics holsters. If you're looking for a good IWB for your "J" frame I can HIGHLY recommend this one! Its going to stay with the 36 and I till death do us part.

Regards

My Pro TL is one of the most comfortable holsters I use. I need to stop by and see Eric about another holster. BTW ... nice leather Sportsterguy.

Sportsterguy...newbie tuckable holster (carry holsters really) question: I have been talking to Eric about ordering a Pro TL for my Kahr P9. What I have not asked so far is how does the clip appear on the belt...over it or under it? Any chance you can post a pic of it tucked and ready?

Alan,

The clip goes over the top of the belt and is SECURE on my 1.5 " HBE and Belman belts. I don't use the tuckable option, but will take pics for you when I get home from work.

I ain't s******* you that this is the MOST comfrotable and CONVENIENT holster in my collection. I really don't know the 36 is there when packing. I had 2 other holsters for it before the HBE and both wanted to ride up and out of my pants as it is a snubby. Not so with the Pro TL. It stays in place as it should. I have had 5 of Erics holsters and they are all very high quality rigs!

Speaking of the other holster who's names I won't reveal the Kydex clips broke on each of them. The metal clips Eris uses DO NOT break. I carried a full size Springer 1911 in a Pro TL for a year before swapping over to an H&K P7. Not as comfortable as the 36's but was a great holster in it's own way. The 1911 weighed 2X's+ the amount of the 36. Made 2 trips from NC to Fl. (853 miles each way) and it was no problem in the comfort department. If the clips do break (highly doubtful) Eric will replace them free of charge.

Guarantee you and the Kahr will love it. It's worth every penny IMO.

Regards,

Roger

BTW thanks for the compliment gents!

Wow, very nice holster! Is the clip available in a velcro option? That would help us guys who tuck for ultimate concealment.

You'll LOVE IT shooterX !!! Eric makes the best holsters out there IMO and I've pretty much owned all of the big named makers holsters. This Pro TL is KA!!! You WILL NOT be disapointed and if you are (which I'd bet a "C" note on) he will make it right.

Wasabi, Youll have to ask Eric at HBE. Guys a master craftsman.

Heres his link. He'll do ya right and offer excellent advice upon your needs in a holster. Makes darn good belts too! My belt is 3 years old and been used and abused and still is in outstanding shape.

Thanks, BTW I like the t-grip, I have one on my Detective Special and am thinking about putting one on my model 60 down the road a bit, using pachmyr's at the moment.

SG...very much appreciated. I really do need/want a tuckable holster. I just purchased a COM3 from SlimJim for my P9. While excellent, I prefer my OWB for untucked carry.

Kevin,

Less than a month the last I knew. Pretty darn quick and worth the wait IMO.
