I cannot remember the numbers for each but can say - I have used Fobus paddles for a few guns - in fact back when my P95 was daily carry, that was in Fobus. It was very comfortable.
Many folks say how hard it is to draw and free off from retention. IMO no prob - the draw just needs to ''inertial'' and snappy - no probs.
I have one now for my SIG 226 but like my leather so much may not use it - unless for IDPA perhaps.
The one I have for my BHP also is good - but again nice leather has won the day.
In value terms I think they are well worth consideration.
I have 3 Fobus' 2 are roto and one a standard for a PT99 . The 2 roto's I use for car carry in a cross draw setting to satisfy our ___ CHL Law here in Ohio. The c21 for my Para is very nice and an easy draw no matter what angle I set it at. The one I use for my Glock is another story. It is a hard draw no matter what angle. :weightlif My only complaint is the Para rattles just a little in the Fobus c21 when I open carry with it, other than that It's a winner!
Thanks Willy, maybe It'll work out for me.......Maybe startin my own used holster box in the closet too. Any thoughts on Bianchi holsters? I seem to have picked up one of their shoulder holsters, thought I might give it a try......or add to the box
Sparky,
I have a Bianchi minimalist I use for OWB carry of my Para. It is pretty comfortable and very well made. I HAD a Bianchi shoulder holster for years that I carried my Redhawk in till I sold the holster with the revolver in it. It was excellent and very comfortable. I have an Uncle Mikes I carry my 629 5" in now for handgun hunting and it is fine for that. One thing about the Bianchi was that hanging there in the closet the elastic went a little "flat" with the Uncle Mikes there is little or no elastic to die over years of little use. I don't carry the 44 for CCW as I don't want all that penetration and who wants to carry all the weight around.
Fobus are ok, but I find em too bulky to carry unless I am wearing a winter coat. also some issues have been presented about the sturdyness if someone trys to take your gun. Finally , I have found the fobus wears the slide bluing off my Taurus.
