Pleasure to be invited into this group. Supposed to tell a bit about myslef. Well, I do not care for President Obama's poolicies. that is all I am going to say on that subject.

I have been shooting for a long time. Never seem to get any better, but I keep working at it. I do shoot IDPA, did shoot CAS. My personal firearms I use in IDPA and for carry are M&P(, (c, and Smith J-frame Mod 37. Bought one of the ruger LCPs but have found myself unable to control the thing. told you I am a bad shot.

I have some questions for the group, but not at this time. Again, pleasure to be here.

Welcome to the forum, I just got involved about two weks ago, great place, great people.

Years ago, when it first got popular, I shot IPSC, and not too shabby scores.

I always use a Colt 1911 mod 70, that was completely rebuilt by the late Austin Behlert, in fact thats how I got inot IPSC.

I used to shoot with his son Frank and his daughter whose name escapes me, but I still remember how good looking she was and boy could she shoot.

Anyway, again welcome.

In combat, good tactics and situational awareness often beats a good marksman with poor tactics and no situational awareness.

Keep at it! Ask questions as to where you feel you may be lacking and lots of great shooters here will help you out.

Also, if you can afford to shoot competitively, you can probably afford to attend a reputable shooting school sometime.
