Just a quick note to intro myself. I'm a retired federal LEO residing in Florida. I still carry but now get to pick my sidearm instead of my agency. My choice is a 1911, I have several but recently been carrying my new Ed Brown Kobra Carry lightweight which I couldn't be happier. The reduced weight sure is nice and the steel feedramp gives me more of a comfort thank straight alloy. Ed Brown offers a life time warranty so I'm not overly concerned about putting rounds down range.
