Greetings all,
I have been carrying a side arm professionally for nearly 40 years now. To date, Arizona continues to be a handgun friendly state. Only recently I have obtained a concealed weapons permit, due to the deteriorating "social climate" here on the Southern border. I decided that I prefer to have my hand on a weapon out of sight more often than I do wearing one openly. As a result the size and caliber of my choice has diminished. I chose the IMI Micro Desert Eagle .380 ACP after trying out a dozen or so weapons suggested by others. I have not experienced failures of any kind in over 500 rounds fired with all kinds of .380 ACP. And... since the majority of the potentially life threatening incidents around here occur nearly within arms reach, rather than beyond, I am confident in the gun and caliber.
I have been involved in work related shooting a couple of times over the years and it is a nightmare. I respect your decisions to arm yourselves, it is your Constitutional right as a citizen of this nation, and I trust, a decision to which you have all given deliberate consideration.
