Had been interested in the Shield .45 but when I go ahold of one I didn't care too much for the feel of it in my hand. Seemed like a really light gun for a .45. I did own an XDS .45 in the past that I wasn't too fond of

Anyways I saw a P220 Compact (used) at a LGS for 625. Held it last night and was pleased at how it pointed and felt in my hand. The extra heft vs the Shield felt better to me as well

Offered 600 and they accepted. Can't wait to get it to the range and put it through its paces. May have found a cooler weather EDC

Nice!
I am definitely jealous. I'd love a modern single stack DA/SA 45, and Sigs are always great guns.

I've been seriously considering a used XDS 3.3 45 at my LGS. What didn't you like about it?
It barked a little to loud for me (XDS). It def is a handful Jmo. Recoil is subjective I wasn't fond of the aggressive grip either

Does it have the SRT in it ?

And you can use the full size 220 if you want more fire power in it

Yes it does have the SRT installed

It is a sweet little piece. At only 1 oz less than my P220 Scorpion I expect it to handle well

Great deal on a great gun + supporting your LGS business! :35:
Arrggg. Your making it difficult for me to resist that one. The 220 is about the only sig I don't have and that's the one 220 variant I would want. Excellent price you paid for it. Congrats and enjoy.
Welcome to the sig sickness family. My sig is right beside me as I type this.
WOW, what a steal. I have the same gun and it is just fantastic; very accurate, never any function issues, great balance, and excellent trigger. This was the first SA/DA pistol I've owned that I could get the first DA shot off rather quickly and accurately and the SA pull is short and crisp. Enjoy and know you got a very good deal.
You did good! Plus you got a great 45 ACP. You will never look back. you can bet your life on that pistol.
Wonderful choice and a wonderful firearm. Take good care of it and clean it, etc., after each range outing and it will always take care of you. As always, check out and fire the defense ammo you select to keep with you as you have her by your side. Caution: the +P Hornady Critical Duty .45 ACP may not fit the 220's mag.
great CC weapon and a smoking deal, I've been looking for one, with no luck, they don't last long in the gun shops shelve down here.
