Welcome, Longtab - unusual screenname - what does it mean?
The "long tab" is the nick name of the US Army Special Forces tab, and "short tab" is the nickname of the Ranger tab. Actually the President's Hundred tab is longer than the SF tab, but hey... who count's THAT tab?! LOL

Thanks to all for the welcome.

I've had the opportunity to conceal carry in the US and abroad; Africa, Afghanistan, & Iraq.

If I'm alone I carry a Kimber Tactical Pro II w/ Hogue grips in a Blade-Tech paddle holster. Spare mags I carry in my front left pocket. My wife has a Kimber Pro CDP II on her side of the bed and carries as well.

Also, I carry a M9 Brigadier w/ Hogue grips in a Blade-Tech paddle holster. Spare mags I carry in my front left pocket.

I carry the Kimber whenever I'm alone or in a group carrying mixed pistols. If I'm in the same vehicle with team members carrying M9's I'll carry my M9 for continuity's sake. I prefer the Kimber's sleeker frame for conceal carry.

I am however comfortable carrying either and have "stopped" BG's with both without incident.

Without wishing to pry - and understand if not something you talk about - any chance you could do a thread for us on your ''incidents''.

I ask only because I feel we all have much to learn - most from the pages of life itself.

Sure. I certainly learned from my episodes and would like to share these experiences with the group.
