First time on this site earlier today. Great discussions so registered straight away.

I'm a transplanted Texan, been living in NC for a long time now.
Love those Cowboys and Longhorns.

Anyway,,,
Life long shooter; long, short and recently mouse guns.
Wife unit and I just got put in for our CCW's hence the recent interest in the itty bitty pistols.
Breaking in a Sig P938 for me and a Kahr P380 for the lady.
After 200+ rounds both still not 100% w/ cheap stuff but getting better.
Amazing having to break in these plastic guns.
Never been through this with steel autos.

Welcome from Minnesota!

Little guns are often more ammo sensitive than bigger ones, hopefully you'll do better when testing defense rounds. IMHO, the best cure for the problems with small autos is small revolvers.

Always loved a wheel gun. Still shooting a S&W 686 and loving it. I have not ruled out a LCR for the wife. Besides no clip drop or rules for clearing jams except "try again" it would work like a breeze with shot #2 if fired while weapon still inside her handbag from hell.
