Nickel 442 -- first range trip.

It shoots to point of aim with the Winchester 130 gr FMJ practice ammo.

Didn't try carry ammo yet.

I haven't gone to the range enough recently, and my shooting showed it.

Hope to get there more in the near future.

I decide I like the Uncle Mike's boot grips that came standard with the M442.

Put a pair of the same on my M49.

Once I get a bit more practice with it, I'll carry the 442 as a lighter weight alternative to the 49.

I didn't realize there were any Nickel 442's until I saw this one in the LGS consignment case.

Nice!

Do you know how old that 442 is? I recall seeing nickel 442's in years past, but don't think they're in S&W's current lineup (?).

Very nice!:35: I like nickel guns they seem to have slicker actions than the same stainless models!

It's a satin Nickel 442 no dash.

They were made in the first couple years after the first 442 was announced. 1993-1995.

Mine dates to early 1995.

The no dash models were made with forged internals. MIM was used in 442-1 and 442-2 versions.

Best looking version of the Model 442 right there.
