As I understand it the idea is to have several museums around the country so everyone can enjoy coming to see the various firearms exhibits. Perhaps the more people see the good in firearms instead of what the "news" reports the more people will enjoy forearms ownership.
I think of their tens of millions in museum construction costs, their millions in yearly upkeep and the tens of millions in weapons that are not owned by the membership that only a select few are allowed to shoot. Where did they get the money from? I think of that about every time my three year membership expires.
IMO, that money would be much better spent protecting the interests of 2nd Amendment advocates.
Then again, there's no other organization that's done more for our gun rights. I'd like to have my cake and eat it too!
