A few of us from OCDO went out for a walk.
These are pics from Sat 1-16-10 on the Las Vegas strip.

The fountain at the Paris. I'm on the right with the black and gray flannel.:D

How warm was it there? And yes, did the panhandlers and guys with the "trading cards" leave you alone? That would definitly be one benefit for OC.

Here's a question though, did you try going in to any of the casinos?

It didn't stop the people with the questionable residency from trying to pass out the cards.

When we where out in front of the HD cafe, there was a couple of "thug" looking characters that spotted the guy with the white shirt and his 1911. I think they damn near got whiplash and there eyes bugged out. They stayed there about 20 yards or so away checking us out for a few mins. We had a pretty good laugh at there expense.....lol. That was after we went inside and used the restroom and grabbed some drinks.

I personally didn't OC in a casino. There was some other guys that carried in O'Sheas with no problem. And once every started to head there separate ways, a couple of guys walked through Bally's on there way to there car in the parking lot. The wife wanted to stay and try to stimulate the local economy. So I just pulled my flannel over my sidearm.

It was a little chilly out but not to bad.

Very nice. Sounds like plenty of rounds for almost anything with that group of guys. No ladies carrying with ya?

I myself had 49 rds. on me 16,16,16+1. I don't know how many extra mags everyone else was carrying. :comeandgetsome:

I know my wife wasn't carrying, but I can't speak for the other woman.

We all had a good time. I think Las Vegas PD is finally get the point that they can't harass the OC'ers. Thanks to TimF343 from OCDO.:congrats:

sweet

So OC and CC are legal in casino's in Vegas?
They have the right to ask you to leave for OC. But for CC it's pretty much don't ask don't tell. ;)

For the shot show coming this week. It's connected to the venition and pallazo casinos. They let it known that no firearms are allowed in there casinos. Not allowed in your room either.:hand1:

]'m very happy that you had a good time, but you guys are very lucky. Yes, OC is legal here, but it's frowned on by the Metro PD. If someone sees you, who doesn't know the law, is very likely going to call it in to Metro as a "Man with a gun" call. Metro then would most likely introduce themselves by providing you with a free meal, of concrete. Personally, I believe that the strip is a bad place to OC. And any casino that sees you enter will show you how to leave, OC is legal here, but common sense should prevail. The carry laws here are great, pretty much as good as any other state. Just be careful out there!
