Those look like metal mags in the pouches, the mag in the weapon is an orlite, orlite mags have dimples on the exterior, they have a lip that is suppose to help keep dust out of the magwell in desert conditions,I believe they are standard Israeli issue
Well, the Horde of Zombie Groundhogs moves pretty quickly...I like to start out at 700 yards, then walk 'em in until I can bonk 'em. The sunshade on the scope makes it look about four inches longer than it really is...and makes a perfect biscuit cutter, too!
Thanks for the compliments, OP...I dare say that none of my stuff bears the dust that yours proudly display, and pales in comparison for that reason specifically! Glad to say that my hobby is enjoyed under the blanket of freedom provided by you and your team(s). In case I've not mentioned it lately, thanks for being out there and doing what you do...same to all fighting men and women posting here.
I didn't post pics to be competitive.
I just wated to show people what i got and what kinda setup they have.
As far as some of the stuff i've seen people cram on their quad rail if they ever had to hump the extra weight they might rethink the setup but for plinking at the range it's not an issue.
When I served we had the M16-A1 and the M16 commando it had the 11.5" bbl with 5.5" flash suppressor and collapsible stock the M4 predecessor,no picatinny rails.

And also, what would be the best way for attachment to the handguard? See the pics of my setup. I...
Because 00 buckshot is right at 9mm in diameter, actually 0.33" vs 0.354" (9 mm), we kinda think of 9 pellet 00 buckshot being equivalent to 9, 9 mm rounds. It isn't and it isn't even close, especially when the 9 pellet 00 is low recoil. Here's why:
The total energy delivered to a threat by a...
We can say right from the start, this is not a method that will be practical for many because it involves numerous trips to the range before final results and trends can be seen. Most of us that reload are familiar with ladder tests, i.e. starting with a charge and increasing subsequent loads by...
Like many, I’ve got an M4 clone I like to tinker with, my particular version is a S&W MP15 Sport II. Like LEGO sets of long ago, I’ve attached, removed, and force fitted things to ultimately fit my particular needs.
One thing I haven’t changed is the original six position stock, that being...
Remington has surfaced from Chapter 11 bankruptcy. I suppose Im glad for Remington but I doubt I will ever buy any more Remington guns as I've lost my faith in the company. They just don't make guns like they used to. Here is the article...
