Welcome, from a fellow Ohioan! HR 91 would change many aspects of our current CCW law if it were to pass. Media access, car carry requirements, and duty to notify (LEO) to name a few. Unfortunately, they are trying to fix all the bad parts in one fell swoop, and with the sitting governor I don't think this bill will go too far. IMO, it would be better to fix things a little at a time, i.e. media access, car carry this session and go on down the list in subsequent sessions. It would be great if HR 91 could pass, but as I mentioned earlier, I think it is over zealous. Perhaps, after Taft is gone... :wink:Bodie said:Not sure of all the facts but one point in Ohio's CCW law that is up for change is the access media have to the names of those with CCW permits.
Not that this makes the media very happy................
Written with true liberal logic! :laugh2:Hask12 said:Still there was one newspaper that stated that since no one with a CCW License shot anyone then the law isn't really necessary. That's great logic.
