Just idle thought - fun exploration folks.

Let us imagine that where you are - ''anything goes'' - in other words, forget concealed for a bit - you are legally able to carry any weapon about your person, loaded. Even in town LOL!

So - will you shoulder your AK, your FAL - or will you have something lighter like a Win94 in .357 for example. Maybe you fancy a carbine - like CX4.

So - what'll it be - your choice entirely!!??

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Footnote - I realize that many factors might affect your decision. I might favorably consider my FAL at times, where range is important for ''reaching out'' - but I may other times think a lever was well adequate. OTOH - the AK may be ''awful tempting'' almost anywhere :biggrin:
OK - I am pooped and so probably feeling a tad goofy!
Tough Choice The beretta storm would be decent choice but if im carrying a long gun i want long gun performance so out of what i have would either got Ar-15 nice 30 round mags or the Cetme 308 20 rounders.
223 gives up some performance at longer range well ok lot of performance to the cetme 308
Course if i was super worried about it i would just pack my 300 win mag 700 bolt gun witha Muzzlebrake for true long range performance
I think my Springfield Armory M-21 would be the choice I would make.
M-16's seem to make a nice fashion statement :biggrin:
I'd carry my Rock River carbine, Vector Arms AK-47, or Benelli shotgun (dependant upon my mood... :cool: )
Back in 1994 I spent 6 months on peace keeping duty in the Sinai. We would get a 4 day pass almost every weekend and I would spend my off duty time up in Israel. There were tons of off duty Israeli military personnel walking around with their weapons. Israel has been fighting the war on terror long before the US and this is one of their policies. Military personnel are allowed to carry their weapons with them off duty but they can not drink alcohol. There were so many attractive Israeli women walking around packing heat…Uzi’s, M16’s, CAR-15’s, etc. While trying to flirt with military Israeli women we really had to mind our manners. :biggrin:
I got so fixated on those cute Israeli girls I forgot to answer the topic. I'd carry my DSA FAL SA58 carbine and a few mags of Federal 150 grain Nosler Balistic Tips.
I've lugged a FAL around with me for the day before just on a whim, being in an open carry state. I trust mine implicitly, as I've built my go-to guns from the ground up and know every seam, screw, and spring.
It's a little much getting in and out of the car, but you just throw it in the back seat. :0
I wouldn't mind having a benelli m4 w/ collapsible stock and mag extension. ( I like shotguns). I wouldn't mind a HK MP5sd but I doubt I will ever even touch one ( unless I become an LEO in SWAT or the likes. But it would be fun. Not sure if you would stay out of harms way or invite trouble with carries mentioned, but fun idea.
