Went to the barber (actually she's my "stylist") to get my hair cut. Sat at the shampoo basin first and my S&W got wedged (or is that wedgied?) in the chair. I couldn't get up without ripping something or getting it "fixed."

My stylist is wondering W T F??? as I'm struggling to free myself.

Long story short - her hubby is from Texas so they're gun friendly. And she doesn't mind if I carry in her place of business. :king:

Best part is that she still couldn't see it even though she was looking for it. :hand10:

My wife and I both carry. She works at my business 3 days a week and at a Beauty Salon 3 days a week. The owner used to be married to LEO and is glad she carries to work when she is there.

I go to a "stylist" too. People give me lots crap about it, but the scenery is usually better than at Great Clips or some barber :)

I hit the Lady Jane's Barbershop every 3-4 weeks to get my hairs cut. The scenery is fantastic, big screen TV's while you wait, i don't have to tell them how i want my hair cut every time and hope that it comes out OK, and the girl i make appointments with loves motorcycles, cars, racing, snowmobiling, etc. What else could you ask for? Oh yeah, and they never notice when i CC.

I shave my head now...saves barber costs, but the little shop I used to patronize in our small town had a barber who was in his 80's (and a great barber, too).
When I first met him, we got to talking about crime, then the NRA, then guns. He then pulled a .32 revolver out of his pocket, "Can't be too careful," he said.
Then I showed him my Kimber, which was in an IWB holster...it didn't catch on the chair though.
I would guess that most of the older fellows who went there all had guns...it's the South, ya'll know!:yup:

Define Texan? What I consider a true Texan, I'd agree. But I meet people here in Texas every day that I would prefer to never meet again.
 That happens to you too....

I had the same thing happen at Belks the other day...it was completely my fault and a newbie mistake. I was wearing it on my side and I normally carry my wallet on my jacket pocket inside my suit, but I couldn't seem to find it (I put it in my back pocket for some reason)...anyways, I lifted up my jacket to get my wallet and the cashier noticed the bottom of my holster. Luckily he was a very friendly guy and a fellow CWC himself. He asked at first if I was a cop and I replied no, that I have my permit to carry it and I showed it to him. However, it could of been a VERY bad situation.
