Armed Home Invasion Story Link

2 armed men enter a home with 12 students, none of which seemed capable of defending themselves or any of the other occupants with a firearm. Because of that, two black males were able to control the fate of 12 people. Unbelievable. This is good evidence for always carrying within your home. These occupants were demoralized when forced to the floor and their personal belongings were taken from them by a couple thugs with guns in their own apartment. One helpless female was even injured by one of these punks. I bet an armed resident would have sent these guys running or falling to the floor. This type of story angers me.

I guess it's prudent to have a gun handy in the house.

But you have to be able to unwind somewhere, and if you don't, hypertension will get you sooner or later anyway.
So for me, at home, I take the gun off, get comfortable, and maybe indulge in a little Scotch or Wild Turkey.

If I drink enough Wild Turkey, I don't need the gun; I can just fly out the window if they get thru the deadbolts.

Question: Why does not the NRA have these type of people/victims testifying to the Senate or House committees on 2A to show that the MAJORITY of us want to be able to defend ourselves, legally, and reasonabally!

Answer: Because the NRA does not have access to a taxpayer funded Airforce 1 or National Progressive Media that shows honest support for YOU to protect yourself with your god given rights, to self defense of life and property.

I am very happy that none of the Students/occupants/whatever were killed.

It's way too sad that I surmise that the Progressive Leftist Teachers, that each of these victims learn from, will only make them now write essays on how they caused this problem, and that the people that attacked them were socially deprived by some (enter any entity).

Nothing about wearing a gun winds me up so taking it off at home doesnt help me unwind. I already have hypertension and have for 20 yrs so I may as well be armed at home to go along with it. At least if someone kicks in my door Ill likely end the encounter and still have a BP reading even if it is high at times:tongue:

they should've called the police. they're only minutes away. 😏

I wonder if an institution can be held liable for a no firearm policy that prevents someone from protecting their own life.

I certainly don't know the answer to this, but I have instructed my wife to sue the pants off my employer for just that reason, should I ever get killed at work by some whack job.

My reasoning is this. At our corporate HQ, all doors have badge access except the main door at the front lobby. This door leads to a reception area that has badge access doors to the interior of the building, so a BG could only get into the lobby where there is one receptionist and one armed security guard.

Fast forward to where I work. I work out at a "remote" site with 10 other folks. Our building has regular doors that are unlocked during the day when someone is at the building (we are maintenance people who go out daily to our substations and tower sites, etc,). Our shop is posted for no weapons. We have no armed security guard.

So, I've instructed my wife to find the sleaziest lawyer on the face of the planet to make the case that I, now dead, was discriminated against since the people at HQ have "protection" and I was denied the same level (or providing it myself) and I'm an employee (was!) just like they are.

Won't know how she makes out, but I would hope she would join the ranks of the rich and live a lavish lifestyle because some puke decided there was just too much "liability" to allow us to arm ourselves even though in Wisconsin, employers are NOT liable for any action from a licensed CCWer if they allow them to carry at work.

When I'm gone, does anybody want a fun little open cockpit airplane?

From the maps it looks like an off campus rental. In that case the folks could have been armed if they met all the legal criteria. Glad the victims are ok. It could have gone south quick...

They, the victims, are a product of our public schools! Don't do anything to upset the bullies! You're just a defenseless victim so let them do what they may to you, if you survive the police will arrest the bullies and our system will punish them with 48 hours in jail! :aargh4: Or maybe probation!

Hairball my RANT is not meant for you! But your post had the word "Victims" in it so I'm using it as an example!

Sorry Harryball, I guess I could blame spell check or I'm a little concerned with the Mods looking at it as a double entendre giving me a demerit.

But in all honesty, I just screwed up! :embarassed:
