I have a 3" LDA 1911. I like the gun and it is a joy to carry with the slim grips and no hammer poking you. I am not really a big fan of the gun though because I grew up shooting SA 1911's so the trigger pull just feels weird to me and I cannot shoot it as accurately as I can a SA.
It is a good gun, shot about 500 rds without any malfunctions. I just cannot shoot it accurately. I would recommend it to someone who is either willing to get use to the DA or is already use to the DA. It is a crisp trigger pull, its just too long for my tastes.
