I just bought a Sig with rail on it...and bought a light for it. This gun is strictly for by my bed and that is where it stays unless I am practicing with it. I figure if somebody is roaming through my house in the middle of the night, I really dont care if the gun is pointed at them or not to light them up. My kids are all gone and we live in the boonies so there is no reason for anybody to be in our house. Besides that.......It's COOL!!!!!!

Autofan....my reasoning is if I turn on the room light then we are all on even ground as far as light goes. The BG sees me as well as I see him. Have you ever had a really bright light in your eyes in a dark environment? It blinds you and really screws you up for several minutes. Right after that happens, my wife can whap him with her baseball bat while I keep cover on him with my defense weapon. Then hopefully I dont have to shoot anybody to protect our lives.

This is all assuming of a break in with bad intent at my house in the middle of the night of course.
