Have used Safariland Model 25, Uncle Mikes, and Galco Stukon-U for many handguns over the years. Currently using Safarland 25 for the G42 and G43.

Would like to use the Galco Stukon-U but...can't get past fabric with Glock triggers.

Now I have tried diligently to engage the trigger externally while the Glock is in the holster. Couldn't make it happen.

But still cannot get comfortable with the idea. Thoughts?

Besides a revolver I always felt better with a Kydex pocket holster even with the hammer fired LCP custom and Berreta Pico I carried. My preference was the Aholster pocket holster but, there are others like the Alabama holsters. I really like the Aholster because the outside is less form fitted to the gun and blurs the pistol outline a little better and the pocket hook worked great for me. That is what I would use if I pocketed a G42.

Maybe I will stick with the Safariland 25. Hard synthetic inner lining with suede laminate outer covering. Not worth the risk to use the Galco.

Will checkout the Alabama holsters too.

I don't pocket carry whatsoever. Never had an interest in doing so but I must say that the information that you all are sharing is insightful. I never even heard of "Mika Holsters" until I peeked into this thread. I went to the site and it seems to have some nice items. Thanks for increasing my knowledge. 😎

What's the problem, Glocks have the "Safe Action" triggers, don't they? I don't pocket carry and have concealed an unloaded G-19 in my cargo shorts pocket to see if it fit--it did easily--but I would opt for leather most likely if carrying in that manner.

Planes have ejection seats too. Doesn't mean you want to use one.

I like the Mika for pocket carrying my J-Frame. It smooths out the "golf ball lump" in your pocket from the cylinder. It's easy to remove the holstered gun from my pocket, but I haven't had the holster come out with the revolver on the draw. For my G43 or my P365 SAS, I prefer the Alabama Kydex holster.

Kool! As I mentioned earlier, I'm not really into pocket carrying but I really like the information about it that you and others are sharing in this thread. (y)
