What are some of the names for point shooting? I already know the "shortened isocoles" (spelling) that Mike Janich teaches. The one I saw on themaking of Collateral (right hand with gun in a low position, left hand going acros chest. I don't know the name for these but they work well. I woudl like ot learn more techniques and the names so I can show off while shooting with my friend ;)

Here is one page you might be interested in.
As every serious defensive shooter should always do...retain what you feel may be useful to you & discard the remainder.
Try different techniques. See what works for you and what does not work.

The specific technique used in Collateral when the Cruise character goes back after his briefcase from the two punks is the speed rock from the hip on the first BG after sweeping his gun into a an inside pin position and the other guy was hammered chest and head it seems to me.
