Last month, I primarily carried my Shadow Systems MR918. This gun has replaced my Glock 19. Carried in either my Kramer horsehide OWB belt scabbard or Sparks SSII IWB holster. I did carry my grip reduction Glock 26 for a week or so.

Well, since I'm stuck sheltering in place during this thing, I've just been carrying a Sig P238 in a pocket holster while working from home. If I have to get out for something, it stays there and I add my Ruger SR1911CMD to my hip.

Cheers.

My EDC used to be a Springfield Armory XD-E 9mm 3.3 inch barrel with an extended mag so 9+1 that weighed 26oz... but now it’s a Sig Sauer p365 XL 9mm 3.7 inch barrel that carries 12+1 flush magazine and weighs 20oz... To say I am very impressed with this Sig for Conceal Carry is an understatement...

I EDC these two pistols 24/7. I carry the FN in a clutch holster and the SA 1911 in OWB kydex. I carry 51 rounds of BB 45 ACP 230 +P in Wilson ten round mags for 1911 and 101 rounds of FN ammo in twenty round mags for the FN. The two carry methods complement each other so I can EDC both with the FN as a BUG if the SD situation merits this. Otherwise carry just one, depending on the concealment requirements.

The clutch holster also holds spare batteries, digital night vision module, 3 $100 bills, CAT tourniquet, quickclot, small size infidel OTF. I carry a Ken Onion ZT knife inside waistband.

Both weapons are custom tuned. Both have crisp 5.5# triggers. The FN has IR illumination and the 1911 has visible light illumination. 1911 SA has green laser and FN has IR laser both sighted at 10 yards coincident w/ tritium sites.

FN has a custom heavy aluminum standoff with a serrated striking surface for close quarters. Both pistols have light/laser hand actuators. The manual light actuators are made snag free.

Finally, I subscribe to the CCWSafe ultimate plan with the enhanced civil liability coverage.

Switched from a Glock43 to my full sized m&p 2.0 .40 after I realized I could carry it comfortably in a belly band no matter what I’m wearing. I shoot it so much better, I can get a good grip quicker, and carry lots more ammo in the gun. I guess you could say it’s comfortable and comforting.
