Since Glock is private, they don't release any sales data, but what is your guess on which model sells the most on the consumer (as in not to law enforcement) market. I'm going to list the most common models, if you think it is one of the more obscure (ie the .45 GAPs) vote "other".
I've never seen a formal report supporting this, but I don't think this particular question requires such a thing. It's just something we know after being around for awhile.
That does not surprise me. In 9mm semi-autos I have a S&W Shield and a Kahr PM9 and have shoot many others. I got a Glock 19 first and it is definitely my favorite with the S&W Shield close behind. I have said this here before and I will say it again, The Glock 19 is the best all-around handgun PERIOD.
I favor my 19. For a guy who claims to not be a Glock fanboy, I seem to have a few more than I should.
After careful consideration (and a few thousand rounds), I really can't find a bad word to say about the Glock 19. Factory sights, maybe. Nothing Trijicon HDs didn't fix.
Is there a purpose to this thread other than what we think is the best selling model? A simple check of a few Glock dealers will show what the highest selling model is. I "think" the G19 is the best selling model but that's not what I "bought."
