Predator ITP Holster

I just bought a new Predator ITP (In The Pants) holster for my 1911. I didn\'t really think that I was going to like the Kydex holsters but decided to try one anyway because of the weight, size, stiffness and came highly recommended by one of the instructors at the local range today. I must admit, I am biased in favor of leather holsters but this one looked like it would be very concealable. We\'ll see if it winds up on my favorite list or just gathers dust with all the others I have used and rejected.

Fobus/Predator

I don\'t care much for the look of the Fobus and the Predator IS still plastic, but in an IWB holster, it\'s not bad. Not absorbing moisture is a definite plus in Arizona in the summer. Being stiff, it is easy to draw and re-holster and it\'s size is really negligible. It is quite a bit smaller than the Fobus'I have seen. I really sort of like this one, but doubt I would ever consider a Kydex belt holster.
I have worn it off and on for about 6 months now and I really do like it. I still like leather for aesthetic reasons but I have to admit the Predator sure cuts down on bulk, allows a smooth draw and reholster, causes virtually no wear on the finish of my gun. On the negative side, it\'s hard.
Here\'s one of my babies snug in it\'s Predator :)
