If your holster was 'boned' for the Ruger, I'd say no for the 1911...OMO
I want my holsters to fit perfectly. I could get different guns in other holsters, but that is not a good practice.IMHO:wave:

I totally agree. It could also be a safety issue.

Only cheap nylon holsters are universal, leather holsters should be molded for the perfect fit. You didnt skimp on the gun, dont skimp on the holster.
