I continue to just have my day to day 3 o'clock - can't really see anywhere that is perfect.

In a spill stuff is gonna get beat up and I guess at worst my right ilium could get bust worse because of the gun. The risk is there but - I will not travel unarmed so - it is a risk I have to accept.

I can see some advantage to sho rig, unless of course an impact is focussed higher - in which case rib cage is gonna get hammered badly. Maybe safest is in a tank bag - but then the hassle over retrieval each time you leave bike.

No ideal way IMO - just pick the risk factor you can be accepting of.

Well - this is highly relevent, tho no way to tell what injuries the guy suffered. It proves tho how us bikers have to be ultra vigilant and expect anything - anything at all!

P95 how did you carry on your ride?

I think I may have mentioned earlier in the thread - but my carry is unchanged - just the 3-3.30 OWB.

I have considered other options and may in fact this summer see how the SIG sits in my Bianchi X-15 - but overall I expect it'll stay same old usual!!

I am very aware of traumas possible - I have ridden probably equivalent of four times round world, and seen some wrecks and their results but - I try and ride very defensively, even more when Mrs P95 is on back - and so attempt to avoid trouble. I know it may find me but if a certain time and day have my name listed there'll not be much I can do about it.

Meantime, I want my carry to be where I expect it - on body so not gonna be forgotten and where my hand goes instinctively. :smilez:

Mr Clean - this handed aspect has crossed several minds but, I realize more I think on it - the odds of trying to retrieve, fire and stay safe while on the move, is so remote that I dismiss it!

My weak hand shooting will never match my strong hand - and contemplating anything useful while mobile does not make for a pretty picture :wink:

Much more likely both hands will be fully utilized in the control of the bike, either to accelerate the hell away from trouble - or stop fast as possible - then if needed, engaging a threat.
