For you guys that carry IWB, how much larger in pants waist size did you have to go up to fit the holster?

you shouldn't have to go up any unless you are carrying something like a Ruger Redhawk .44 mag with a 7 1/2" barrel

Depends upon how tight your pants are at the waist. If loose, then a thin gun might be OK, but if your pants are snug I would go another size for comfort.

Same size I usually wear if I wasn't carrying. My pants are sized to me give or take whatever slack comes with even sizes in different brands.

I wear a 30" pant without a gun in them. With a gun in them I wear a 32" pant.

The general rule is 1" - 2" larger if carrying IWB. I do 2" as I also carry my two spare magazines IWB quite often.

Varies depending on the pants and which holster/gun combination. From 2"-4".

Typically going up one pant size should do it. If your pants are already loose around your waist you can probably get by with the same size, depending how tight you like your pants to fit.

Aside from what type of gun or how tight your pants are, it also depends on what type of body you have. If you're lean and rock hard your body won't give much, but I'm well rounded and my spare tire has lots of give. I use the same pants but I loosen my belt one notch when carrying IWB.

You can test yourself easily by putting a holstered gun inside your pants, even if it's not an IWB holster. Walk around the house for a while and get a feel for what it's like carrying your gun in there, and you'll soon know if you need to go up a size.

I usually buy one size over what I would have if I wasnt armed. Infact, I have some jeans that fit me just fine when I am not carrying and forget about it, I shove my gun inside the waist band and put my belt on. half way through the day it seems like, I realize my mistake.

As a rule, I have a 32" waist on my pants (I am starting to feel a stretch on that size recently, however), and in most of my pants I can't carry IWB. I have to get a pair of pants in 33". That being said, Most of the jeans (Wrangler and Lucky Brand primarily) I wear fit an IWB holster fine with my 32" with no problem.

One size up and let a quality belt do the work. Problem is, my pants keep shrinking!

I go up one size over my normal waist, keeps things from getting too tight.

I IWB carry a Kel Tec P11 in a Ross holster or a Sig P239 9mm in a Galco Summer Comfort. I have not had a problem with my regular size pants. I wear at about the 5 o'clock position.

Yes, what he said. But also, remember you are going to be sitting, and getting in and out of your vehicle.
With my body size, the IWB carry for me become uncomfortable during driving, the pistol likes to dig into my thigh unless it's at JUST the right place and angle. I've gotten used to it so far.
so when you are walking around the house getting used to it, do some sitting.

Also realize that if you go anywhere, like work or the movies, keep in mind that arm rests on chairs can cause a hassle for those of us with more...divine proportions *chuckle*
