Any Randall fans? I'm pretty sure I have a problem I have 3 on order 2 will be delived in Jan. 09 (a #1 and a #5[this is for my Dad], and I just ordered a #24 wont see that untill late 2010. I'm already thinking about the next one to order, see my problem.

I own a Model 14, with 7.5" blade & micarta handle. I've had it since 1978 it was only $65 back then, it was made by Bo Randall (the old man) who died awhile back. I understand that his son runs the operation now. It was my first & only custom blade, a graduation gift for receiving my Navy Aircrew Wings. I have no idea what the going price is now but it must be steep....

Hello.

My dad received this knife as a gift in the '60's and used it to clean elk he shot for years. With his passing, it came to me. I don't use it anymore, but I believe it is an early Randall knife.

I have owned a couple. I had a model 14 and a model 16-1. They are great knives wish I still had them. It was reading about Randal knives that got me hooked on custom knives.

You might want to contact Nordic Knives in Ca. They can save you some wait. I ordered my knives through them and I only had to wait 3mths. instead of years. Give them a call and see if they can help.

Thanks for the heads up on Nordic Knives. I'll look at them for my next order. It looks like on their web page you can't get as many custom features. Definatly worth a look though.
