I am on AL till the middle of July so I went to range to play with a few toys.....Didn't know where to stick this one but since I shot mostly revolvers I will stick it here. feel free to move it if necessary. I took my BP High Power, 5906, CZ 75B .40, Glock 22C, S&W 1917, Model 60, both of my Centennial's, the model 40 in .38 Spl. and 940 in 9 MM. My Inland .30 Carbine, Ruger PC4 in .40 and my ASA 9 MM AR. I shot mostly cast lead reloads. Right off the 940 does not like lead. any cast lead keyholes at 7 yds. mostly even sized to .357 or .356. jacketed for this one Only! All the other toys played well with cast lead. Even my Inland .30 shoots cast lead well, but it shoots everything I stick in in well.

Even a bad day at the range is a good day. Glad you had the chance to run them through their paces.

Very nice! Looks like some good shooting with some great firearms. I gotta get out for a fun plinking range trip soon, been too long. And I'm jealous of most of your handguns, especially the BHP, CZ and that smith - good looking bunch you got yourself there.

I'm also both impressed and disgusted at the same time by your screen name.

Any day at the range is a good day, absolutely.

Any day when half the stable of ponies it let out to run, it's a great day. :eek:k:

'Course, $500 days don't happen all that often. Did one a few years back, introducing a friend from overseas to the joys of firearms ownership, shooting. He'd had precious little experience, but had an engineering background and was eager to learn. We took apart everything, understood how it worked, covered safety and safe handling, range procedures. We shot nearly every gun I had. IIRC, he wasn't too keen on the 12ga shotgun, but was appalled and amazed at how devastating it could be at close quarters. Did pistols, revolvers, shotguns, semi-auto pistols, an M1 Carbine, lever-action .44mag and .357mag. Both left with huge grins on our faces. To this day, he still mentions the day to me.

OK, put me down as one who does NOT want to see a youtube video buy GreasyStool! :gah:

I actually had a good day at the range on Thursday July 4th. In celebration of the Second Amendment I took my AK out and tried out my new load bearing rig. Did some close quarter drills and practiced mag changes on the move. Lots of fun.

Looks like a very nice day on the range. I have never tried cast lead in .30 carbine, I am going to have to give it a whirl.
